Fenster Ranch Summer Camp Dominates in Best of Tucson
Best of Tucson: Camp Experience by Tucson Weekly
When parents think of summer camp, it’s often within the context of a 4- to-6-week experience. At Fenster, however, it’s amazing how much can be packed into a single week. Longtime director Matt Nelson and his staff developed an affordable program that offers various courses in ropes, horseback-riding, environmental awareness, hiking, climbing, music and water activities. But the real focus, he says, is on connecting kids with nature. The staff’s passion and enthusiasm for connecting kids with the desert, each other and their own potential makes for an inspiring camp experience. Truth be told, parents love connecting to this energy as much as their kids.

Horseback Riding Offered at Camp this Summer
The folks at Sabino Equestrian Center have settled in and horseback riding will be offered to campers 7-11 years of age. Campers 5-6 years of age will ride in horse-drawn buggies and learn to control the reins. We are confident that the horses and wranglers from Sabino Equestrian Center will help us offer the best program available anywhere!
